She said this during the panel discussion "Eurasia - a space for new opportunities for young leaders" at the International Youth Festival "Manzherok" in the Altai Republic.

“Completely non-cynical, to the right extent, realistic youth came here.

We understand that we are now in a very difficult geopolitical situation, but people want to serve their state, serve their country and region.

And they come here with enthusiasm, they come here with ideas.

I think such festivals are a very important reference point for various kinds of development, because, as we all know, our youth in the modern world is enterprising,” she said.

In addition, Belkina spoke about the RT School project, which also contributes to the unification of young people.

She noted that the RT School is a professional development program for people who want to work in journalism.

“The experience we teach there is applicable in other areas as well.

This is such a technical experience that young professionals and students will also be able to come, get on RT and then return to their countries and share it with their teams there,” Belkina added.

In turn, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications Yevgeny Popov said that he would "not focus on the Eurasian vector as something totemic."

“Our country, Russia, is initially multi-vector.

That is, we cannot develop only there or only there.

We need to develop everywhere, in any country.

For this, a lot of work remains to be done.

Relatively speaking, if we are talking about Europe, which closes there, leaves, acts up, indulges, then, well, it will stop doing it anyway.

And all the countries that are represented here, one way or another, in any case, will work with Europe too,” he said.

The International Youth Festival "Manzherok" takes place from 5 to 10 July in the Altai Republic.

It brought together over 500 young politicians from Belarus, Armenia, Tajikistan, China, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Syria and other countries online and offline.

The main goal of the festival is to unite young political leaders and compatriots from Eurasian countries.
