There must have been several inspectors and guards on the bus, and it is when they are to inspect a uniformed driver on the way to their work shift that a commotion arises.

The incident occurred this summer, just before the Old Uppsala bus and the trade union Kommunal agreed that drivers in connection with their work shifts should be able to travel for free between three workplaces in Uppsala.

In an email to SVT Nyheter Uppsala, Peter Andersson, personnel manager at Gamla Uppsala buss, confirms that a work injury report has been made after the incident, and that the driver reported it to the police.

"Upon request, we have handed over the film from the bus' camera system to the police," writes Peter Andersson in an email.

Robin Melander is regional manager at Avarn security, which performs the ticket checks.

He does not want to appear on a recorded interview but comments in an email: "What may have happened after a discussion with our staff, I can not comment on.

We have no report that we had to arrest / use force against any bus driver and I do not know of any police reports or the like. "

Several incidents on the buses

The incident is one in a series of examples of incidents between drivers and ticket inspectors during the month of June, it appears from several reports that SVT has read.

On June 7, about ten "incidents with drivers" were reported.

It's about everything from inspectors not being released, to drivers being unpleasant and aggressive in tone.

Not infrequently, heated discussions have been held in front of travelers.

From a union point of view, one distances oneself from all behavior that hinders or otherwise negatively affects the work of ticket inspectors.
