Amazon Europe's sports boss, Alex Green, unveiled the outlines of Prime Video's offer for the next season during a press briefing on Wednesday.

In addition to the monthly offer (the "Ligue 1 pass") at 12.99 euros without commitment, which will be maintained this season, the web giant will offer an annual rate set at 99 euros for all L1 and L2 matches held by Amazon.

Until August 28, this offer will be reduced to 89 euros.

"Our monthly pass was already very attractive, now we are offering an even more interesting offer for the full season", rejoiced the manager.

"It's good for our followers and it's good for us to be able to create that engagement," he added.

The offer will be available from July 11, a few days before the start of the season, set for the weekend of July 30 with the first day of Ligue 2 and the Champions Trophy (Paris SG - Nantes) on July 31.

To subscribe to the "Ligue 1 pass" like the "season pass", a subscription to Amazon Prime is necessary, at 49 euros per year or 5.99 euros per month.

Amazon recovered in June 2021 the TV rights to the French Championship left vacant by the defaulting broadcaster Mediapro, until 2024. For L1, the web giant pays 250 million euros per season.

For the 2022-2023 season, Prime Vidéo is counting on the continuity of its programs, with the maintenance of the program "Dimanche soir football" without subscription, and a stable cast.

As leading consultant, Thierry Henry will be maintained.

The top scorer in the history of the Blues "will be a key element of the next season", assured Alex Green.

For Ligue 2, the manager announced that the Saturday evening multiplex (7 p.m.), broadcast on the L'Equipe channel last season, would now be visible on Prime Video.

He did not rule out, however, the possibility of a partnership with L'Equipe for single matches.
