The Israeli occupation forces field-executed Palestinian youth Rafiq Riyad Ghannam (20 years old) in the Jenin camp in the northern West Bank, and arrested more than 40 Palestinians during a campaign of raids in several areas in the West Bank.

The official Palestine TV said that the Palestinian liaison (responsible for communicating with the Israeli side) reported the death of the young man, Rafiq Ghannam, during clashes with the occupation forces at dawn today in the town of Jaba, south of Jenin.

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that an Israeli force stormed the town of Jaba, and carried out raids on a number of houses, which led to clashes with dozens of young men.

Among the witnesses, the army arrested Ghannam, after he was hit by live bullets, before announcing his death later.

The army used live and metal bullets, and tear gas canisters, to disperse the Palestinians who threw stones at the Israeli forces.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that it condemns in the strongest terms the heinous field execution crime committed by the occupation against the martyr Rafiq Riad Ghannam in the town of Jaba, south of Jenin.

She added in a statement that the occupation is anticipating the visit of US President Joe Biden with more field executions and an escalation of its comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the International Criminal Court to assume its responsibilities in prosecuting and prosecuting Israeli war criminals.

For several months, the city of Jenin and its camp have witnessed incursions by the Israeli army, which have resulted in the death and injury of Palestinians.
