A 20-year-old man was sentenced to five years in prison by the Nîmes Criminal Court for arson and aggravated theft.
On the night of September 27 to 28, 2021, after stealing teaching materials, he ransacked and then set fire to the Paul-Langevin elementary group, located in the popular Pissevin district, in the Gard prefecture.
Already condemned several times
Already convicted in the past four times for theft and destruction by dangerous means, he was confused by the presence of fingerprints on the spot.
The court also ordered a detention order.
