When SVT visits Vallby center on Tuesday morning, several people stop to talk, but they do not want to say their names.

Ibrahim Onar is an exception.

He comes from Turkey and has lived in Vallby for almost 8 years.

He thinks that insecurity has become more pronounced in the last three years.

- I have seen those who commit crimes and then calmly leave.

Not everyone escapes on a moped or motorcycle, they can walk.

They know no one is chasing them.

Did you see anything happen yesterday?

- No, but I heard a helicopter over the center, but it was an hour later.

It should have gone faster.

In an hour, a lot can happen.

But it is not easy for the police either, he says.

An elderly lady who does not want to be named says that she has lived in Vallby for over 50 years.

She thinks it is quiet right where she lives, but that the center area feels unsafe in the evenings.

She believes that more patrolling guards are needed, and faces that are recognizable.
