“The time is not right for the Secretary of State to contact Foreign Minister Lavrov.
We should not expect a bilateral meeting with Foreign Minister Lavrov during this visit," TASS quoted him as saying.
The Russian Foreign Ministry previously noted that a meeting between Sergey Lavrov and Anthony Blinken on the fields of the G20 in Indonesia in early July is not planned.
Lavrov will take part in the meeting of the G20 foreign ministers on July 7-8.
