China News Service, July 5th. According to the WeChat public account of the Chinese Embassy in Morocco, from now on, the Chinese Embassy in Morocco has adjusted the requirements for applying for health codes for those who travel to China from Morocco, as follows:

1. Requirements for applying for a health code

  (1) Testing requirements: All personnel take "double nucleic acid testing (RT-PCR)".

Please take the first nucleic acid test within 48 hours before boarding and the second nucleic acid test within 24 hours before boarding.

The two nucleic acid tests need to be carried out in different testing institutions, with a sampling interval of more than 24 hours.

  The above boarding time is calculated based on the scheduled departure time of the flight, accurate to the hour, and the detection beyond the time limit will be invalid.

  (2) Testing institutions: The embassy no longer designates testing institutions, and testing institutions published on the website of the Moroccan health department are acceptable.

  For a list of institutions see: Laboratoires Covid19. (nd). Institut National d'Hygiène.

  (3) Required materials:

  1. Two nucleic acid test reports within 48 hours before boarding;

  2. Full flight ticket or itinerary to China;

  3. Passport information page (if you are a seaman, please upload the seaman's ID information page at the same time);

  4. The latest passport entry stamp page or residence permit in Morocco (if any, Carte d'immatriculation or Carte de séjour);

  5. Proof of vaccination (if any).

2. Requirements for people with a history of infection to apply for a health code

  (1) Those with a history of infection should apply to the embassy for pre-screening 14 days before boarding.

Two nucleic acid tests are required (both tests should be conducted within 3 days before the submission of the pre-trial application, and the two sampling times should be at least 24 hours apart).

Through the mini program of the international version of the epidemic prevention health code, fill in the information such as the date of diagnosis truthfully, submit two negative nucleic acid test certificates, and apply for pre-trial.

  (2) After receiving the reply from the embassy through the mini program of the international version of the health code, "the material has been confirmed and the pre-review has been completed" (the health code is still displayed in red), please conduct 14-day isolation and health monitoring.

If there is no abnormality during the period, the pre-boarding test requirements are the same as those of ordinary personnel; if the test result is still positive, please seek medical treatment in time.

3. Close contacts and persons with suspected symptoms

  Those who are in close contact with confirmed cases, suspected cases, asymptomatic infections, those with suspected symptoms such as fever, cough, diarrhea, or those who have been refused boarding by the airline due to high body temperature or suspected symptoms, etc., should be quarantined for 5 days and be healthy. If there is no abnormality during the monitoring, the pre-boarding test requirements are the same as those of ordinary personnel.

4. Matters needing attention

  (1) Those who plan to go to China should arrange the testing time reasonably, submit the health code application as soon as they get the report, and upload the complete required materials.

The embassy will review the health code as soon as possible after receiving the test report, including weekends and holidays.

Please wait patiently for the review results, and do not urge inquiries by phone or email, so as not to interfere with the review progress and ultimately affect your own and others' itineraries.

If you cannot get the green code, please pay attention to the reply of the embassy in the mini-program, and supplement relevant materials accordingly.

  (2) Persons in Morocco can go to other countries to transit to China without restrictions on the route and number of transfers, but they need to undergo double nucleic acid testing and apply for a health code in Morocco and the last transfer place (the place where the direct flight to China takes off) as required.

  (3) Passengers who depart from the country of origin for transit in Morocco and then go to China via other transit countries do not need to apply for a health code from the embassy.

  (4) For those who temporarily go abroad from China, if the itinerary involves multiple countries, the departure place of the direct flight back to China shall be the place of departure.

  If there is a conflict between the relevant notices issued by the embassy and this notice, this notice shall prevail, and the embassy will make dynamic adjustments based on the epidemic situation and overseas imports.
