Piskarev: a group to counter interference in elections will work in the State Duma

“A monitoring group is starting to work in the State Duma to counter foreign interference in elections,” Piskarev said.

The MP added that Andrei Alshevskikh would become the head of the monitoring group.

Igor Borisov will also join the group from the Central Election Commission.

In September 2021, Piskarev announced that he had applied to the Prosecutor General's Office about calls from abroad for cyber attacks on the remote electronic voting system that was used in the State Duma elections.
