He said this at a meeting in Khabarovsk, RIA Novosti reports.

The Secretary of the Security Council specified that the goals of the special operation are to protect people from genocide by the Kyiv neo-Nazi regime, demilitarization and denazification of the territory of Ukraine.

In addition, Patrushev called the goal in practice to achieve the neutral status of Ukraine, prescribed in the Ukrainian Constitution.

“Despite the provision of military assistance by the United States and the West to Ukraine, the increasing supply of lethal weapons, these goals will be achieved,” Patrushev said.

Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, said that the turn of negotiations would soon come, before which Kyiv would have to accept all the conditions of Russia.

The Kremlin also stated that at the moment Western countries are betting on the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine, not allowing Kyiv to think about peace.
