Investigative Committee opened a case on the fact of shelling of Russian journalists by Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbass

“The Investigative Committee of Russia initiated two criminal cases on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art.

356 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ... on the facts of shelling by Ukrainian security forces of the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic, as a result of which journalists of Russian TV channels were injured, ”the Telegram message says.

The Investigative Committee added that on July 1, a film crew of the TV Center TV channel came under fire.

Also on July 4, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired shells at the city of Slavyansk, where the film crew of the NTV channel was working on a news story.

Earlier it became known that criminal cases were initiated against servicemen of the 24th separate mechanized brigade, the 25th and 26th separate paratrooper brigades, as well as the 56th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
