Carolina's apartment was destroyed in the Luleå fire - everything is damaged by smoke

It was on Thursday afternoon that it started to burn in one of the apartments in the seven-storey building and the whole house had to be evacuated.

No one was injured but many apartments are believed to have been destroyed.

Lulebo, which owns the property, estimates that 30 out of 60 apartments are so damaged by water and smoke that the tenants will not be able to live there.

One of the victims is Carolina Mickelsson.

Everything is wet - days later

Several days after the fire, most of her clothes, bed and table - almost everything - are wet and smell strongly of smoke.

- It feels damn good.

It smells and when you look you realize that this will take time and you still want your home, says Carolina Mickelsson.
