The town hall of Grenoble (Isère) recently ordered the removal of tags forming a fresco on the wall of a covered alley in the city center.

The drawings are in fact promoting a point of resale of narcotics located just next door, near Hoche Park.

The work of street art indicates in particular the prices of different drugs and the hours of presence of the dealers, says

.

This promotion of an illegal activity made the municipal team react, who felt "very concerned" by the graffiti and "scandalized" by their appearance in the neighborhood.

In addition to the practical information of the deal point, the fresco is composed of an original drawing by Bart Simpson.

The cartoon character is represented there with eyes reddened by the consumption of narcotics.

The city is also known for less controversial tags.

Every year, it hosts the Grenoble Street Art Fest, as part of which many artists adorn the city with their works.
