Most tourists at Kolmården come from eastern central Sweden, but in recent years the proportion of international visitors has increased.

Some come only to try the roller coaster.

So far this year, the park has attracted 220,000 people.

- The combination of animals and Bamse's world is otherwise what attracts, says the park's CEO, Christine Karmfalk.

The Göta Canal is also doing well so far this year.

The channel's CEO, Roger Altsäter, says that there are plenty of guests and that they see a large increase in international visitors.

The channel is celebrating 200 years this season and both the king and queen will take part in the party.

To keep track of guests on land, they have digital counters and at sea they measure the number of tickets sold.
