Gutenev noted that retaliatory measures should be "sufficient for Lithuania to correct its position."

“But are the actions of Lithuania exactly the position of this country, its citizens, its leaders?

It seems to me that this aggressive behavior, inexplicable, is imposed by actions from the outside, and Lithuania is the lamb that they are ready to slaughter,” the deputy explained.

At the same time, he stressed that in Russian society there is a huge demand for an "adequate and tough response."

“Because there is a feeling that the lack of an answer provokes our opponents to raise the degree,” concluded the interlocutor of RT.

Earlier, the governor of the Kaliningrad region, Anton Alikhanov, in an interview with Vedomosti, said that possible Russian measures in response to Lithuania's ban on overland transit of a number of goods to the Kaliningrad region could cause significant damage to the transport sector of this country.

Alikhanov called the developed list of measures "a powerful weapon."

Among these measures, the governor considers economic measures to be preferable.
