The prosecutor reported an attack by unknown persons on the airport in Nukus during the riots

He stated this at a briefing.

“Unknown people organized an attack on a military post in the Khojaly region, seized weapons and attacked the Nukus international airport,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Earlier it was reported that in Uzbekistan during the riots in Nukus on July 1 and 2, 18 people were killed, 243 people were injured, of which 94 are in hospitals.
