“It so happened historically that we, the people of Kryvyi Rih, mostly spoke Russian, but now the language is also our weapon,” he said on social networks.

According to him, the city authorities decided "not to cut off the shoulder", to conduct a "soft process of transition to the Ukrainian language."

In particular, the military administration organized language clubs "Let's communicate in Ukrainian" in every district of Krivoy Rog.

In addition, online language courses are offered. 

The report says that since June 24, more than 500 citizens have registered for online courses.

Earlier it became known that the teaching of the Russian language and literature was canceled in the Odessa region.
