This is also the first local legislation in the country named after ecological civilization education.
The "Measures" clearly designated the week of June 5th Environment Day as the Jiangsu Provincial Ecological Civilization Education and Publicity Week.
At the same time, encourage and support animal and botanical gardens, wetland parks, geoparks, public cultural facilities, etc. to be open to the public at a discount or free of charge, and open for free during the ecological civilization education and publicity week to provide ecological civilization education services.
The "Measures" include general provisions, school ecological civilization education, family ecological civilization education, social ecological civilization education, safeguard incentive measures, and supplementary provisions, with a total of six chapters and forty articles.
The "Measures" clearly stipulate that ecological civilization education is the responsibility of the whole society, stipulates the government's ecological civilization education responsibilities, refines the ecological civilization education responsibilities in all aspects of society, and promotes the diversification of ecological civilization education carriers.
