“In response to the request of President (Ukraine Vladimir. - RT ) Zelensky for support, Australia will provide military assistance to Kyiv in the amount of 99.5 million Australian dollars.
It will include 14 armored personnel carriers, 20 Bushmaster vehicles and other military equipment produced by the Australian defense industry, as well as a contribution to the relevant NATO trust fund, ”said the head of the Australian cabinet.
Earlier, Agence France-Presse reported that Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese promised to provide Ukraine with 14 armored personnel carriers and 20 Bushmaster armored vehicles as military assistance.
Earlier it became known that Ukraine received the first four M113AS4 armored personnel carriers out of 14 promised as military assistance from Australia.
