- During the term of office, we have repeatedly gathered a majority in the Riksdag to force the government to investigate at least a number of the proposals that we know are necessary, in order to tackle crime.

The red-greens have delayed every step of the way.

But now we are ready.

The first hundred days we start, said Ulf Kristersson (M) from the stage.

In the speech, he also mentioned that it "has become expensive to be Swedish" and pointed out that the Social Democrats' tax increases, according to M's calculations, cost an ordinary family with two children almost 18,000 kronor a year and called the upcoming election a "wallet election".

- Now information is needed before election day: what taxes will be raised if S, MP, C or V are to negotiate a joint budget?

At the subsequent press conference, Ulf Kristersson developed the election promise of a tax increase stop, but also said that at the same time it is time to be tight and build a buffer.

- I promise no broad tax cuts in the current economic circumstances.
