It is noted that the state of emergency has been introduced in the regions of Emilia-Romagna, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lombardy, Piedmont and Veneto.
The government will provide additional assistance in the amount of €36.5 million to these regions.
Earlier, the authorities of the Italian city of Verona, because of the drought, ordered to limit the use of fresh water.
