Two weeks after the legislative elections and before the general policy speech of the Prime Minister, Elisabeth Borne, the composition of the new government was finally unveiled on Monday.

A Council of Ministers will be held this Monday at 4 p.m., said the Elysée.

Olivia Grégoire, previously spokesperson for the Elysée, is appointed Minister of SMEs, trade, crafts and tourism.

The former Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, is appointed government spokesperson, "in charge of democratic renewal".

Christophe Béchu is appointed Minister of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, occupied so far by Amélie de Montchalin

Former Secretary of State Clément Beaune returns as Minister of Transport.

Jean-François Carenco is overseas, replacing Yaël Braun-Pivet, who has become president of the National Assembly.
