Germany's Uniper SE is in talks with the government about a potential bailout package of up to €9 billion.

It is noted that the German authorities are considering the possibility of applying a number of measures, including loans and equity participation.

Earlier, Germany upgraded its gas emergency plan to a second out of three due to supply cuts.

The second degree of the emergency plan gives the government the right to recommend businesses to conserve gas.

Economy Minister Habek noted that the political "winter" in Germany is already on the threshold, the country has begun an energy crisis.

Jens Spahn, vice-chairman of the CDU/CSU faction, turned to Habek with a request to present a consistent plan to overcome the gas crisis in the country.
