According to the indictment, the boy himself called SOS, who alerted the police, ambulance and rescue service to a home in Trosa municipality.

On the spot, they could hear a child screaming and crying inside, and the police decided that the door would be broken open.

Arrested in the home

Inside the home, the boy was found alone and tied to an element with a dressing gown.

There was also a mattress by the element.

The boy said the same thing had happened the day before.

The investigation shows that the mother came home shortly after the blue light staff arrived and was then arrested by the police.

Contact via facetime

During questioning, the woman said that she felt compelled to leave her son alone for a few hours when there was no possibility of childcare and she needed to take a course.

During the hours he was alone, they had contact several times via facetime, she states.

She also says that she thinks he contacted SOS because he called there several times before, by quickly pressing a button twice on the phone.

A trial is now awaiting in Nyköping District Court.
