This is reported by the newspaper Le Monde.

“We have crossed the threshold of 100,000 Ukrainians who were accepted in France.

At first, we were a transit country, in particular, towards Spain, which opened its labor market for Ukrainians a few years ago,” Zymet said in an interview.

He clarified that until 2022, no more than 19,000 Ukrainian citizens lived in France.

Earlier, the French newspaper Le Figaro reported that many residents of France, who hosted Ukrainian refugees, talk about their exhaustion and disappointment two months later.
