The Scholarships Office of the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Public Policy Research in Ras Al Khaimah has announced the extension of receiving applications for scholarships for Emirati students wishing to study until July 15th.

The scholarships cover tuition fees from 50% to 100% with monthly stipends.

The office said on its website that it seeks to support the distinguished students of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and government employees to pursue their undergraduate or postgraduate studies, calling on students wishing to obtain a scholarship to submit applications through the institution's website.

According to the data obtained by «Emirates Today», the office offers a set of full, partial and supplementary scholarships to study inside or outside the country.

Funding and financial allocations are determined based on university acceptance, degree programs, and the available budget.

The office confirmed the provision of scholarships in private universities within the country with coverage of 100% of tuition fees for bachelor's degree programs, and 50% of tuition fees for master's degree programs.

For scholarships at public universities in the country, monthly stipends will be disbursed for bachelor’s degree programs, and 50% of tuition fees for master’s degree programs will be paid.

He added that with regard to scholarships to universities outside the country, monthly rewards for bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs will be paid to students on scholarships from the Ministry of Education, and full scholarships including tuition fees, monthly stipends, health insurance and travel tickets for students of master's degree programs in line with the needs of the Ras Al Khaimah government.

He added that one of the conditions for applying is that the student be a citizen of Ras Al Khaimah, that he obtain unconditional admission to a qualified academic degree, or a professional qualification, and that he has academic integrity.

Scholarship applications are open annually from April to the end of June, but the office decided to extend the deadline until July 15.

Applicants are invited to complete electronic applications and attach the required documents to the scholarship portal before the deadline.
