A 20-year-old woman who was pushing a baby car was shot and killed in a shooting in the middle of downtown New York, USA. 



At around 8:25 pm local time on the 29th of last month, a woman in her 20s was shot and killed by a man while walking with a baby car on the Upper East Side near Lexington Avenue in New York. 



The scene of the incident was in an area adjacent to Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and security was good. 



New York police said the attacker, wearing a black hoodie and black sweatpants, opened fire at the woman at a very close range and then fled east.



The woman was taken to the hospital immediately, but she died an hour later, around 9:20 PM.

It is said that her three-month-old baby, who was in the infant car, was not injured.

The woman who died was identified as the mother of a baby who was in the infant car.

New York Mayor Eric Adams, who held a press conference at the scene of the disaster, said, "Having more guns in our city means more lives will be lost, and more babies will cry when they see their loved ones die." paraphrased.



The shooter, who fled shortly after the attack, has not yet been arrested.
