8:43 am: Washington sends ammunition and anti-aircraft defense to Ukraine

The Pentagon on Friday announced new military aid to Ukraine in the amount of $820 million, including missiles, shells and air defense tools, to deal with the Russian military in the south and east of the country at war.

This 14th set of equipment includes two anti-aircraft systems, four counter-battery radars, new missiles for the American Himars multiple rocket launchers, recently arrived on the battlefield, and up to 150,000 155 mm shells.

8:30 am: London spoofs Moscow after the withdrawal from Serpents' Island

The day after the announcement of the Russians' departure from Serpents' Island, in the Black Sea, the British Ministry of Defense judged this withdrawal "probably" motivated by "the isolation of the garrison and its growing vulnerability to Ukrainian strikes and not as a sign of "goodwill", as Moscow said on Thursday.

Diplomatic tension rose again this week, after multiple declarations of support for kyiv at the NATO summit.

After the formalization of its candidacy for the EU, Ukraine won two symbolic victories: Russia withdrew from Serpents' Island and Ukrainian borsch became part of the cultural heritage of humanity.

But Moscow, which is not advancing in the East, is raining bombs on the rear and evokes a new "iron curtain" in Europe.
