UK: Conservative MP accused of sexual assault resigns

He must now face a new headache: the resignation of one of his most loyal MPs, accused of sexual touching.

In his letter of resignation, the Conservative MP Chris Pincher admits having drunk too much and regrets what happened at the private club Carlton, very frequented by members of the Conservative party.

According to the British press, Chris Pincher proceeded to sexual touching at a party on Wednesday.

The two men supposed victims of his touching, did not warn the police.

They complained to the party directly. 

It's also not the first time that Chris Pincher has been involved in an embarrassing case.

He had already resigned in 2017, accused of having made sexual advances to an Olympic athlete.

He then returned to the government.

The Prime Minister accepted the MP's resignation, explaining that this kind of behavior was unacceptable.

And Boris Joshnon is under pressure to take tougher action to end the recent sex scandals at Westminster.

Last month, another MP had to resign after watching pornographic videos on the phone in the middle of the House of Commons.
