Teodoro García Egea confessed to LOC in one of his first interviews as general secretary of the PP that, despite the fact that he practiced multiple and varied sports,

the one with the greatest risk was exercising his position.

A position that he resigned on February 22, after the internal crisis that occurred within his party due to the confrontation between Genoa and the Government of Díaz Ayuso.

"I have made one of the most difficult decisions. I have decided to leave the position so that the affiliates can be given a voice

and we can take a breath and start a new stage

," he said on the day of his resignation.

Since then, Teo has gone from being the

plumber

of the PP to occupying his seat for Murcia in Congress with the utmost discretion.

His profile is so low that he does not speak to any journalist, does not make statements and does not lavish himself on social networks, something that is strange given that, as a good

millennial,

he was very active in his profiles.

Although he does not speak to the media (in fact, he considers that his last interview on LaSexta was not very successful), he has made a punctual public appearance.

That yes, it has nothing to do with politics and yes with a sector that he dominates

long before dedicating himself to the public sphere: cryptocurrencies.

He is an expert in the matter and for this reason he offered a conference on the 22nd in Valladolid.

Teodoro García Egea was a speaker at a conference that took place at the Valladolid Chamber of Commerce and was called

Cryptoeconomics and Geopolitics.

Teo addressed the revolution that the technology sector is going to experience after the possibility of transferring crypto assets without intermediaries through the network.

Teo's resources outside of politics are not negligible.

He is a Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, a doctor in robotics and an expert in political marketing and Blockchain.

He is also a reservist in the Air Force and a musician, since he plays the piano, the guitar

and the bandurria, an instrument with which he asked his wife to marry

him.

At the moment he remains as a deputy for Murcia and after the crisis has passed there has been speculation about the possibility that he will join a congressional commission.

FAMILY

Teo already confessed in LOC that he was very methodical.

He usually gets up very early in most cases to play sports and he is a judoka, triathlete, swimmer, skier... He even throws olive pits.

In 2008 he won the title of olive bone throwing champion in Cieza, his home town.

Something anecdotal but that he has accompanied him throughout his political career

and whose relevance he took with humor from the beginning.

Pablo Casado 's

killer

has also given him time in his 37 years of life to form a large family with his wife, María José, whom he met at university.

In fact, one of his last posts on social networks was to make it known that he already owns the title of it, after the arrival of little Nacho in October 2021.

In the almost four years he has been in Madrid, he has been the father of two sons,

Nacho and Teo, who join María José, the eldest daughter.

In addition, he is also a voracious reader, especially of science books.

García Egea seems

to have returned to the numbers, "they don't lie"

.

Neither do the results of the last Andalusian elections, some numbers that he would surely have liked to share Teo with his former boss Pablo Casado.

Not so much to Juanma Moreno Bonilla himself, with whom they maintained a very tough position from Genoa when it came to drawing up lists and selecting positions for the Andalusian project.

Moreno Bonilla's affinity with Feijóo, however, is very high, as is that of other barons.
