The

National Police

is investigating the alleged gang rape of a woman in the city of Valencia, which occurred on June 18, as confirmed by police sources.

The newspaper Levante-emv publishes this Saturday that the 26-year-old girl was approached by three strangers at dawn on a central city street, who

sexually assaulted her on the hood of a car

while asking for help without anyone listening their cries for help.

The newspaper also reports that for the moment there have been no arrests and agents from the Unit for Family and Women's Care (UFAM) of the Valencia National Police are trying to identify the perpetrators of the attack.

To do this, he adds, they have the few data provided by the victim, who, due to the brutality of the attack and the fact that it was surprising, from behind,

barely got to see his aggressors.

The investigators have already requested

the recordings of the security cameras of

the establishments near the place to check if there are images of the rape or of the alleged aggressors, not only during the attack, but in the previous moments, when they followed and cornered the girl, and later, when they fled the place.
