“The fact is that the BDK was flooded - it was an emergency type of firefighting, and its condition is much better than dill propaganda says,” RIA Novosti quotes him.

As the acting head of Berdyansk Alexander Saulenko told TASS, the ship was flooded after a strike on the port of the city by the Ukrainian Tochka-U missile.

According to Saulenko, at the time of the impact, the BDK was moored in the port, a fire broke out on its board.

Earlier, the head of the military-civilian administration of the Zaporozhye region, Yevhen Balitsky, informed that the first merchant ship with 7,000 tons of grain for friendly countries had left the port of Berdyansk.

According to him, the demining of the port, as well as the safety of the dry cargo ship, is provided by the Black Sea Fleet.
