The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of South Korea said on July 2 that the accidental section of the Suxi high-speed rail on the Gyeongbu Line that derailed near Daejeon Gym Station on the 1st has been repaired, and since about 7:13 a.m. local time, the line has fully resumed operation.

  At around 15:25 on July 1, local time, the Suixi high-speed rail train 338 from Busan to Seoul Suxi Station derailed near Daejeon Gym Station, causing 11 injuries.

  After the accident, the Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport immediately cooperated with the Korea Railway Corporation and other relevant units to complete the repair work on the accident section at around 7:00 a.m. on the 2nd, and confirmed the road section through trial operation before 7:13 a.m. safety.
