The Hong Kong Science Park is the largest technology R&D and business incubation base in Hong Kong. Xi Jinping pointed out that in recent years, with the support of the central government, Hong Kong has made use of its own advantages and has made remarkable achievements in basic research, talent training, and development of the innovation and technology industry.
The government of the special administrative region should grasp the general trend of the times, put support for the development of innovation and technology in a more prominent position, and further give full play to the supporting and leading role of scientific and technological innovation.
Xi Jinping came to the Hong Kong Neurodegenerative Disease Center to listen to the achievements made by the center's research team in the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's disease, and encouraged everyone to make persistent efforts, pursue excellence in overcoming difficulties, and create more scientific and technological achievements that lead the world trend.
