  This year's No. 3 typhoon "Siamba" intensified from a tropical storm to a severe tropical storm yesterday night, and its center was located about northeast of Sansha City (Xisha Yongxing Island) in Hainan Province at 5:00 am today (July 1). On the 250-kilometer-long sea surface in the central part of the South China Sea, the maximum wind force near the center is level 10 (25 m/s), the minimum pressure in the center is 980 hPa, and the radius of the seventh-level wind circle is 180-200 kilometers.

It is expected that "Siamba" will move to the northwest at a speed of 15-20 kilometers per hour, and the intensity will gradually increase. It will land on the coast from the eastern part of Hainan Island to the western part of Guangdong from the afternoon to the night of July 2 (strong tropical storm level or typhoon level, level 10-12, 28-33 m/s).

Strong convective weather in Huanghuai, North China and other places
