The authority's report shows that the independent school lagged behind with sex education, which means that students who went to grades 4-6 and 7-9 did not receive any education at all.

The principal tells the Swedish Schools Inspectorate that since she was hired in the autumn term of 2020, no teaching about sex and cohabitation has taken place at the compulsory school.

The reason for this is that it should be a sensitive substance.

"We cooperated fully with the Swedish Schools Inspectorate and welcome the areas for improvement that have been highlighted through the inspection process,"

writes the school's principal Chiedza Chadehumbei in an email to SVT Nyheter Halland.

She also writes:

"As stated in the Swedish Schools Inspectorate's decision, the school has taken the necessary measures and is in the process of implementing a plan that is in line with the changed curriculum when it comes to the area of knowledge sexuality, consent and relationships."

Permanent employee does not have a teacher ID

The school, which also conducts upper secondary education, also receives a remark as teachers without a teacher's ID have been permanently employed.

Four out of five teachers who are stated to teach in upper secondary school have a permanent job, despite the fact that they do not have a teacher's ID.

In addition, the Swedish Schools Inspectorate remarks that the school psychologist should only have been used for remedial work and that he or she does not participate in the student health's preventive and health-promoting work.
