He also stressed that the combination of hostile military planning and hostile policy "creates such an explosive mixture from which it is very difficult to get out."

“And it is very difficult to say what concentration of political efforts will be required or what dramatic events may occur in the field of military security in Europe in order to break the dangerous spiral into which NATO is drawing not only the whole of Europe, but now the whole world,” the Deputy Minister noted.

Earlier, Grushko said that NATO made a bid to confront and contain Russia on all fronts, recognizing the Russian side as a threat to the alliance.
