However, some media disclosed that, using taurine effervescent tablets as a keyword to search on the e-commerce platform, a large number of advertisements such as "aphrodisiac", "female-only, colorless and odorless" and "confidential delivery" appeared.
For a time, the problem of buying drugs online has also become the focus of attention.

This is a conversation between a reporter from the "Rules of Law Daily" who recently searched multiple e-commerce platforms with keywords such as "adult perfume" and "adult health care products" and found some related products.
In the display pictures of these products, slogans such as "Let the other party be obedient and do whatever they want" and "Attract the opposite sex and fall into the arms in three seconds" are written.
Some businesses also "remind": "Do not use it for illegal purposes".

Compared with online stores on e-commerce platforms, some businesses are more "direct" in chat software.
On June 25, in a chat group of an overseas chat software, a reporter asked, "Have you been addicted to drugs?"
Immediately, 6 "group friends" sent private messages - "I have it", "guaranteed to be effective"... Then, the reporter was pulled into a chat group of more than 40,000 people by one of the "group friends", "Group owner" "They are the "largest drug sales base".
The reporter browsed the top news of the group and saw that the group mainly sells three kinds of drugs: triazolam, sevoflurane and Lishui injection, of which triazolam is divided into domestic and foreign imports.
Prices range from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars.
The group owner introduced to reporters that domestic triazolams are imitations, insoluble in water, with average effects and side effects. It is recommended to add them to various drinks after grinding them; foreign triazolams dissolve in water and have no memory after waking up. , No side effects; Sevoflurane and Lishui are inhaled and injectable anesthetics and rapid sedatives. To achieve the best effect, buy a set of three.
The pictures of various physical products shown to reporters are densely printed in English, German, Japanese and other foreign languages.

Another seller provided the reporter with a domestic social account. After adding it as a "friend", the other party sent the reporter a small program code. After scanning the code, you can enter the mall and view the product classification.
In the mall, there are as many as thirty or forty types of drugs, "fly powder", "psychedelic pheromone perfume", "frenzy night"... All kinds of product packaging and introduction are dazzling.
The customer service told reporters that there is no price on these drugs, "the price will be taken off the shelf due to violations", scan the code to enter the applet, and you can directly quote whichever you like, "You can also shoot other products, we will send you what you want. goods".
The customer service assured reporters that the potions would reach the sellers safely—either packaged in other items, or courier sites with specialized cooperation.
In order to dispel the reporter's doubts, the customer service sent a few screenshots to the reporter, showing that they have sent out more than 110 copies of the drug at the same express point, and so far nothing has happened.

Is it really as "effective" as the business advertises?
Li Shijun, an anesthesiologist at a tertiary hospital in Anhui Province, told reporters that there are currently no effective aphrodisiacs for humans. According to the current situation, most of the so-called aphrodisiacs that can be purchased contain taurine that affects metabolism, or affects Caffeine in the central nervous system, etc., makes people feel excited and has no effect on sexual arousal.

It is understood that most of the drugs sold online are GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyric acid) drugs.
This type of drug has complex components and many variants. Common ones include triazolam, clonazepam, flunitrazepam, etc. Among them, triazolam is a class of psychoactive drugs and belongs to the category of drugs stipulated by the criminal law; Nitrazepam is a Class II psychoactive drug, a strictly controlled prescription drug.

The reporter's investigation found that products involving "taurine" ingredients and propaganda with a sexual implication have been removed from the e-commerce platform.
As for this kind of business propaganda, Yan Chao, a lawyer from Beijing Yinghe Law Firm, believes that it has been suspected of breaking the law. "At least it violates the Advertising Law. Advertisements must not contain false or misleading content, and must not deceive or mislead consumers." It may also violate the Food Safety Law or the Drug Administration Law, and in more serious cases, may be involved in the crime of producing and selling food that does not meet safety standards, or the crime of producing, selling, or providing counterfeit medicines.”

On June 24, the Supreme People's Procuratorate announced the punishment of new drug crimes and issued a guiding case.
Among them is such a case: for up to 5 years, Guo Moumou put the purchased drug triazolam tablets and the medicine containing γ-hydroxybutyric acid into his girlfriend's drinks many times without the knowledge of his girlfriend. , causing dizziness, nausea, vomiting, lethargy and other symptoms.
In the end, the court sentenced Guo to three years and six months in prison for deceiving others into taking drugs.
In September 2021, Mr. Li from Yangzhou, Jiangsu called the police on suspicion that his roommate had secretly put suspicious pills in his food.
The police found that the suspicious pill was the drug triazolam, and found a criminal network integrating smuggling and drug trafficking.
Yan Chao said that according to the "Regulations on the Administration of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Drugs", narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs refer to drugs and other substances listed in the Narcotic Drug List and the Psychotropic Drug List.
Psychotropic drugs are divided into the first category of psychotropic drugs and the second category of psychotropic drugs, and triazolam belongs to the first category of psychotropic drugs.

According to public reports, in January 2021, after watching pornographic videos, Peng Mou, a Guangdong man, bought a variety of sleeping pills and narcotic drugs online, and invited his colleague Xiaomei to stay in a hotel together after having a late-night snack and drinking.
In the meantime, Peng Mou took advantage of Xiaomei's sleep, poured sevoflurane on a tissue and placed it under Xiaomei's nose to inhale it.
At about 5 am the next day, Peng found that Xiaomei was unconscious, and called the police and lied that Xiaomei was drunk.
When paramedics arrived, it was confirmed that Xiaomei had died.
After forensic identification, the victim Xiaomei died of acute respiratory and circulatory dysfunction caused by sevoflurane poisoning.
