Nine men were indicted, in particular for "manslaughter", and five of them imprisoned in the investigation into the sinking of migrants in the Channel which left 27 dead in November.
A total of ten people have been indicted in this judicial investigation.
They are suspected, according to a source familiar with the matter, of being to varying degrees involved as drivers, smugglers or lodgers, in particular in an Afghan illegal immigration network in connection with the sinking.

"Nine men, aged 21 to 41" and presented Thursday to an examining magistrate, were "indicted in particular on counts of manslaughter, involuntary injuries, endangering the lives of others, association of criminals and assistance with illegal entry, movement and residence,” said this judicial source.
A tenth person had already been indicted and imprisoned on Wednesday in this judicial investigation.
A total of 15 people – 13 men and two women – were arrested on Sunday and Monday, as announced by our colleagues from Le Parisien and RTL.
