Restrictions were imposed on Children's Rights Commissioner Maria Lvova-Belova and three ministers of the Russian government, as well as 12 other Russian citizens, including Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva, children's ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova and head of the Ministry of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev, Minister of Construction Irek Fayzullin, Minister of Transport Vitaly Savelyev, Chairman of the Board of Bank Rossiya Mikhail Klishin and Director General of Rosgeology Sergey Gorkov.

On June 27, it was reported that Japan would continue to tighten sanctions against Russia.

In the near future, the country plans to add more than 160 Russian legal entities and individuals to the sanctions list.
