Abu Dhabi Police celebrated the graduation of the first founding training and qualification course for the young cavalry, for the age groups from 4 to 13 years, at the headquarters of the Special Patrols Department in the Criminal Security Sector.

The graduation of the course was witnessed by Lt. Col. Pilot Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Director of the Special Patrols Department in the Criminal Security Sector, stressing the importance of spreading the culture of equestrianism among young people and young people and preserving the Arab heritage and authentic Emirati customs.

The course focused on providing participants with the necessary skills for riding and taking care of horses, and preparing a generation of horsemen and knights who possess special abilities and skills in all aspects related to horses and equestrianism.

Its theoretical and practical program, which lasted for 45 days, with the participation of 16 young jockeys, included teaching them the importance of caring for animals and stimulating their positive emotions, developing leadership qualities, gaining self-confidence, urging them to learn patience, activating children's minds and developing their innovation and creativity.

The participating children and their families expressed their great happiness at participating in the course, which provided a useful program on how to deal with horses, take care of horses in terms of cleanliness and names of hygiene tools, how to harness horses, how to ride and get off horses, and train jockeys to walk, trot, flock and maintain balance in the steps previous .

At the end of the course, Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed bin Suroor Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Sheikha Fatima bint Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Zayed bin Mohammed bin Suroor Al Nahyan, honored the children participating in the course.
