A dramatic accident took place around 9 a.m. on departmental road 263 between Haguenau and Soultz-sous-Forêts.
This is where a heavy goods vehicle and two cars collided, according to a report from the Bas-Rhin fire and rescue service (Sdis 67).
On the spot, the emergency services could not save a 30-year-old woman, who died instantly.
A 4-year-old girl was in absolute emergency.
Three other people were affected: among them, a 3-year-old boy is in relative emergency, like a 25-year-old man.
The road was cut off to traffic, still indicates the Sdis.
