On July 1, local time, the Kentucky state police exchanged fire with the suspect while executing the arrest warrant. Two police officers have been killed, five police officers and one emergency management staff were injured.
Police said the suspect shot at officers who were executing an arrest warrant issued by the court on the evening of June 30, local time. The suspect has been detained and several officers were injured and taken to different hospitals in the area.
