Blinken expressed the support of Palestine in the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations, and also stressed the need for a "thorough, transparent and impartial investigation" into the death of journalist Shirin Abu Akle, who had citizenship of America and Palestine.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron told Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas that the French side was ready to help normalize relations with Israel.
