The new banknote contains a reinforced security complex similar to the 200 ruble note.
“The modernized banknotes will enter circulation gradually,” the Central Bank noted.
On the front side there is a fragment of the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin with chimes, on the reverse side - the Rzhevsky Memorial to the Soviet Soldier.
Earlier, the Central Bank of Russia announced the presentation of a new 100-ruble banknote on June 30.
General Director of JSC Goznak Arkady Trachuk spoke about the new design of ruble banknotes.
