His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that education has formed, since the beginning of the march of the union at the hands of the founding leader, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, an essential pillar for the renaissance, progress and prosperity of the nation, an approach that the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed followed. His Highness praised the pioneering role played by the "Khalifa Educational Award" in spreading a culture of excellence in the educational field within the country and in the Arab world, pointing out that it succeeded in discovering many educational talents.

This came during the celebration of the General Secretariat of the “Khalifa Educational Award” honoring the winners of its 15th session, at the “Emirates Palace Hotel” in Abu Dhabi, yesterday, in the presence of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the award, on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The number of winners reached 35, including 18 at the local level, and 17 at the level of the Arab world.

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan honored the winners, praising their efforts in obtaining the honor of this prestigious educational award, wishing them continued success in advancing the education sector locally, Arably and internationally.

The Secretary-General of the award, Amal Al-Afifi, confirmed that the award launched a new field during the current session, which is the field of the Khalifa International Prize for Early Education in its two categories: the research and studies category, and the programs, curricula, methodologies, and teaching methods category.

She pointed out that the 15th session witnessed a great turnout at the local and Arab levels.
