Libya talks in Geneva end without agreement on elections

The United Nations Special Adviser on Libya Stephanie Williams said in a statement that the Libyan talks held in Geneva ended Thursday without sufficient progress to move forward with elections.

"Differences still exist regarding the requirements to qualify to run for office in the first presidential elections," she added, noting that she would make recommendations on available alternatives to move forward.
