Heavy with mosquitoes all early summer but incredibly wet in the fields (Jämtland mountains) so I suspect it will get worse soon.
And yes in recent days it has increased.
Keeps meadows beaten and avoids the forest for a while.

I have never seen so many mosquitoes in central Östersund 🦟 and there will be sticky red mosquito bites.
So more than usual and maybe more toxic than usual.

A damn fuss about mosquitoes, summer and mosquitoes belong together!

Not seen very many mosquitoes.
Last year, on the other hand, there was a lot, so I think it seems calmer this year, maybe because it has not rained for a while.
However, a lot of moths in the evening and some other mysterious birds during the day.
Many mosquito memories, grew up next to a forest and always got full of mosquitoes on the head when you walked / cycled through there in the summers.

Luckily, there are no mosquitoes where I live, even though it is in the country.
Living far from water and a short distance from the forest is key.
I grew up in a real mosquito hole and am happy to escape even though I am now immune to mosquito bites.

So far, I am much calmer than last year.
Yesterday I was bothered more by brakes than mosquitoes.
But I'm equipped.
Mosquito anorak, mosquito hat, Bushman's mosquito repellent and various models of Thermacell.
