Ajman Municipality launches an initiative to encourage housewives to properly dispose of cooking oils
The Environment and Development Department of the Municipality Department in Ajman, in cooperation with the Bee’ah Company, organized an initiative for the proper disposal of old oil, to put a mobile oil collection machine within the association’s campus, which will remain for a period of 3 months.
This comes with the aim of encouraging housewives to properly dispose of used cooking oils and not to dispose of them in sewage sewers because of the risks they pose to the environment and blockages in sewage sewers.
The initiative aims to support environmental sustainability by converting cooking oil to biodiesel and using it in Bee’ah vehicles, knowing that the initiative will continue to be implemented in other locations in the future.
