A road accident claimed the life of a 26-year-old motorcyclist this Tuesday morning on the D 906 between Rambouillet and Cernay-la-Ville (Yvelines).

The driver of the two-wheeler collided with a car at the intersection with the D 91. The motorcycle was coming from the right but the driver of the vehicle would not have seen it,

The driver was tested for alcohol and narcotics which were negative.

Rescuers rushed to the scene were unable to do anything for the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The gendarmes of the territorial brigade of Chevreuse (Yvelines) were responsible for collecting the first elements to clarify the circumstances of the death of the biker.

The Yvelines have recently been the scene of several fatal accidents involving two-wheelers.

The passenger of a motorcycle died last April.
